How to show your photos to Millions of viewers - Photospheres & Google Maps

It is fun to take photos on our journeys...but what do you with them once your family and friends start getting that glazed look in their eyes?!  Well, there's a massive audience actively seeking photos like yours and mine... on Google Maps.  Where else can you get millions of viewers without breaking a sweat (perhaps on YouTube...but it takes a LOT of work).  My photos receive roughly 10,000 views per week and my current count is over 4 million views.  Click on this link to check out my entire portfolio of over 500 photos on Google Maps.

I particularly enjoy posting 360 degree Photospheres - such as the one above of the Roman Agora in Athens, Greece (coordinates 37.974, 23.727).  You should be able to click on each of these captions for a 360' view.

Here's another one from a wonderful vista of Porto Timoni beach on the island of Corfu, Greece.

Here's one I took in the amazing Galleria Umberto I in Naples, Italy, built in the late 19th Century.

I take these photospheres with my Android cell phone using the Google Camera app.  They aren't perfect but they sure are fun!!

Athens Kaisariani Monastery

On our recent trip to the Mediterranean, one of our favourite spots was the Kaisariani Monastery in the hills and forests above Athens.  The original Monastery dates back to the 11-12th century.  In addition to the historical features, this area provides nature in abundance...with a great variety of walks through the pine forests and olive groves... filled with woodsy scents and singing birds.

I enjoy taking photospheres and posting them on Google Maps.  Now...with the latest iteration of my video editing software, I'm able to "fly" around inside my photospheres!!  I'll show you what I mean -take a look at my video of the Monastery of Kaisariani (also spelled Kessariani).
